Yin & Tonic hormone balancing cream has been especially created for women entering the menopausal years.
The name makes reference to a state described in Traditional Chinese Medicine as “Yin Deficiency.” Yin is the female aspect which balances the male yang. It represents the element of water, coolness, shade, and the night time. When Yin is deficient, issues such as dry skin, night sweats, and thinning nails and hair may arise – in short, many of the symptoms commonly experienced by women as they move through this stage of life.
Although menopause is not a medical condition but a natural phase, many women find they need additional support during this transition. Herbs have been used for many centuries to ease symptoms such as hot flushes, hormone related weight gain and anxiety. The herbs contained in this formula have been especially chosen for their traditional therapeutic value, and may be helpful for a range of menopausal, and peri-menopausal issues.
Yin & Tonic hormone balancing cream is silky soft and can be applied under makeup without pilling. It can be used as a day or night cream, and is especially suited to maturing skin which lacks moisture and has a tendency towards redness or flushing. Unlike some over the counter skin creams, our formula does not leave a thick oily layer on the skin, but is immediately absorbed, leaving your face feeling soft to the touch.
Yin & tonic hormone balancing cream contains the following active herbal extracts:
Gingko, Chaste tree, Wild Yam, Licorice root, Horsetail, Black Cohosh, Damiana, Bladderwrack, Evening Primrose Oil
Our natural skin cream is packaged in a 100% recyclable glass jar, sourced from a company who manufactures their packaging using large percentages of recycled material. The jars are real amber coloured glass, and not sprayed with chemicals that can affect the high quality of our herbal products. This product does not contain perfume.

The ‘Happy Hormone cream prescribed by Sarah is something I was curious about after experiencing many of the hormonal fluctuations around the menopause. This newly improved cream has a wonderfully soft, almost mousse like texture and I have found that I feel better all round after a couple of weeks of being back on it. I felt better within a day or two but wanted to see if this was the placebo effect or whether it was having an effect. After 5 months of using happy hormone herbal cream, which I apply morning and evening, I would recommend this cream as a support through the menopause.
Hayley Newman –
I am absolutely delighted with the results of this new cream. I suffer from dry patches due to hormone imbalances and these disappeared after a couple of days use. In my opinion this cream rivals any for mature skin with a price tag twice as high. It is smooth and highly moisturising without being greasy. The product sinks in but leaves my skin feeling ‘quenched’, firmer and soft to the touch all day. What’s more, it makes a great base for makeup and doesn’t pill which so often happens with natural products. I use it as a night cream and put on an extra layer to wake up with plump skin in the morning. I will use nothing else from now on.
