Lemon balm
Lemon balm is an antimicrobial decongestant which has the added bonus of enhancing resistance to infections. It’s volatile oils help aid digestion and soothe upset tummies. It has a pleasant taste, and its many beneficial actions make it a common addition to over the counter herbal cold and flu preparations.
Astragalus
Astragalus is a popular Chinese tonic herb which has been used for hundreds of years to help increase vitality and strengthen immunity. It has been studied for it’s abilities to help relieve debility and fatigue after illness.
Elderflower
The elder is a very useful plant if you’re suffering from a cold or flu. The flowers have decongestant and anti-viral properties which enhance the action of the other herbs in the formula to provide a well balanced, synergistic blend.
Echinacea
Also known as the purple cone flower, this wonderful plant has numerous health benefits. In clinical trials, echinacea has been shown to reduce the risk of recurrent respiratory tract infections, as well as stimulate the production of white blood cells in order to help the body fight off infection. Qi force immune tonic contains extracts of echinacea angustifolia and echinacea purpurea to provide a broad spectrum anti viral action.
Turmeric
Many studies have been conducted on the beneficial health properties of turmeric. It has an anti-inflammatory action, and is also supportive of the gut microbiome which is understood to play an important role in immune function.
Schisandra, cleavers, bitter orange and ginger help support digestive function, which is important for proper elimination.
Dosage: Take 20 drops of tincture in a small amount of warm water 2 to 3 times daily at the first sign of illness.
