Description
Swedish bitters is made from a classic blend of seventeen different organic herbs grown within the walls of a Georgian kitchen garden. The bitter herbs contained in this tincture help stimulate the flow of the digestive juices and enzymes needed to properly break down food. Taken before a meal, the preparation can help to improve assimilation, and relieve gas and bloating.
The inclusion of herbs such as ginger root, Malabar cardamom, angelica and cinnamon bark make Swedish bitters a warming herbal tonic which can help relieve griping or colicky pains associated with constipation or indigestion. The additional combination of Aloe, Rhubarb root, Senna, Myrrh and Carline thistle make this a potent cleansing and detoxifying remedy, helping to cleanse the system of toxicity, and remove stagnant waste from the bowel. It may be helpful for people who are looking to manage their weight, or are following an anti candida protocol.
This very special preparation is made using fresh (not dried) herbs, which have been gathered at their peak. Once picked, the fresh plant material is immediately macerated in naturally fermented alcohol and stored in glass vessels to avoid contamination from plastics. The plants from which this remedy is manufactured have never been exposed to modern pesticides or herbicides. The soil in which the plants are grown is fertilised by natural leaf mould collected from the properties own woodlands.
This superior quality herbal product is made to a traditional recipe and is certified by the British Soil Association.
